Evergreen Cabin

Adam is a great host who answered all the questions we had, he was always in contact throughout the stay and was great beforehand answering any questions I had directly in the airbnb app. The place itself is fantastic and is a great escape from the city, the land has been looked after well by Adam and he has done a great job since the bus burned down to create a wonderful cabin that feels very homelike. The hot tub is excellent and a worthy addition and the cabin is kitted out with all you need for a short stay. The local town is 10 mins away and you can easily reach the likes of Eastbourne and Brighton if you so require, we also made a trip to lewes which isn’t far. I must also say Adams little black book is like a mini google, it tells you all you need to know and has his wonderful suggestions thus no need to worry as his black book has most of the answers, we have already started to recommend this to friends and family!! Thanks Adam for being a great host :) you have created a little gem of a place

We returned home today from a 2 night stay at The Evergreen Cabin. What a fantastic treat for all our family. We absolutely loved it all- from the sheer beauty of the cabin that Adam has created to the tranquility of the forest, the fantastic hot tub, the mirror ball in the forest, the fire pit…We can’t recommend this place highly enough. Next time we’ll come on a day the local brewery is open-but the country walk to The Gun pub was great too. This place is so special. Thank you! Mel, Andrew, J and Louie

A really enjoyable place to be. The cabin itself, is really well thought out, and has everything you need. Some great details inside and out. Very clean, and such a peaceful retreat for those with busy lives that need an escape. Comfortable beds, and the bathroom worked well. I want that shower design! Complimentary toiletries were great, and as I'd forgot my toothbrush there was immediate rescue due to Adam's attention to detail. There are lots of helpful things in the cabin to help you spend your time. We opted for the hamper which was top notch, and kept us going for our 4 night stay. Local good quality produce (and as a cheese lover, I was impressed and couldnt stop eating it) We mastered the Campfire Chilli recipe (which we had twice as there was ample ingredients). We took the bus into Brighton, managing to find the invisible bus stop thanks to the map provided. Hot tub was fab, and the local squirrels made an appearance. There are some lovely nods, and memorabilia linked to the journey from 'bus' to 'cabin' which is very thoughtful. We would really recommend. A rare find.

Stayed here as a group of friends before a wedding and it was the perfect setting to keep a groom relaxed before his big day. Relaxing, quiet, comfortable and the hot tub was a great addition. An amazing find and can't compliment Adam enough for his communication and the cabins! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a calming getaway with friends or family.

Fantastic break, cannot fault it at all. The perfect place to escape busy London and have a moment of calm. You can really see the love and effort that has gone into the project, the story is worth a read!! A big thank you to Adam who was a great host, we will certainly be back!

My sisters and I had an unforgettable stay at the Evergreen Cabin! The cabin itself is breathtaking, with every detail thoughtfully designed and full of charm. The story behind it is truly inspiring, adding to its unique character. Our time there felt magical - from making s’mores by the fire pit and taking in the serene beauty of the woods to the unforgettable moment of spotting three deer wandering nearby. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat to reconnect with nature, this is the perfect place. We also highly recommend dining at Six Bells Pub for a delicious meal. A special thank you to Adam and Salbo for making our stay so wonderful. We hope to return in the summer!

All i can say is that Adam was a great host and this cabin is an amazing place. It's super cozy, peaceful and so beautiful. You can definitely see how much work Adam put to create this magical place. We have really enjoyed our stay, spent a lot of quality time together with my partner, grew closer as a couple and made some new memories! It was a wonderful getaway for a couple of nights.

Just had the most incredible weekend getaway at Evergreen cabin. Beautifully appointed and quirky decoration ensured that we immediately felt at home. Adam is a superb host. The vast windows made us feel as though we were sleeping in the trees. We were lucky enough to see a pair of deer. Only downside was leaving too soon. Thank you Adam, the love and care you spent is definitely worth it and thanks for sharing a piece of heaven with us.
